A mini house tour, and thoughts on keeping it clean.
Our house is always a disaster.
Our room usually looks like a tornado went through it.
The kitchen looks like an episode of hoarders…
Teenage girls have cleaner bathrooms than we do.
The boys room, well, it needed help.
The living room always needs help, like organize it, de-clutter it, love it.
I crave cleanliness. Yet I hate cleaning.
That’s not true, I don’t mind cleaning when it stays clean long enough for me to enjoy it.
Which never happens.
But that’s what you get when you have two toddlers running around destroying everything.
Yesterday a dear friend of mine came over to help me deep clean & organize our house. I am so blessed by my friend.
She has an amazing gift when it comes to cleaning and organizing. She actually enjoys it…weird.
I thought I would show off what we accomplished. I love it and am so proud of it.
(sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, need to work on that!){So this is our living room, the front entrance is actually behind the blue lazy-boy.} {The little basket between the antique piano and china cupboard, is the only thing of toys in the living room.} {The view of the living room from the kitchen.} {Our picture wall and tv. I heart it.}
{This is where all of the toys went.} {It is also where Rich studies for his paramedics, desk and books and family pictures} {The view when you walk straight into the room} {Toys, toys, toys}
{The boys room is my favourite, I am so proud of it!} {The matching lazy-boy with a nursing pillow, Arlo is super heavy and it hurts my arm to feed him without it} {Little trunk with stuffies in it, and on it} {Dresser/change table combo (it holds all of Arlo’s clothing) and Teag’s blue dresser} {Teags corner of the room} {Arlo’s crib; the cord hanging above his crib is the video monitor)
The best view ever. And yes, Arlo is wearing camo jammies, and yes he is sleeping sideways. #likeaboss So what do you think of my clean house?

Awe I love it:) great job!
