I love home renos, I love design, I love design shows.
Fun fact, when I was four my favourite shows were “This Old House” and “Cops”.
I’m not four anymore, and cops really isn’t my first choice anymore.
I still love design shows.
If I could, I would renovate our house right now. Scratch that, I would build my dream house in the country. But since I can’t build my country home, I will dream about re-doing my current bedroom.
I would paint our bedroom a wonderful, romantic grey colour.
I am obsessed with white bedding, it is crisp, fresh, a blank canvas, and honestly just makes me happy.

When I was growing up my Grandma had (has? As far as I know she still has it) a tufted headboard. I love it. In our room I would love to have tufted headboard. Except all of the ones that I love are a bajillion dollars.

Honestly, isn’t it gorgeous? But the price tag is more than I could spend on JUST A HEADBOARD. It’s $1081.83. For a headboard. Crazy. I went all google search, and found an AMAZING tutorial on how to DIY your own tufted headboard. It’s here.
I am so not a pillow person; I have my super flat, used it for years, take it away and die, pillow. BUT I love the look of a bed stacked with pillows. *Side-note* That would mean I’d have to start making our bed right?

I have to admit, lighting is my kryptonite. I know what I want, I just can’t find it. I am torn between a his-n-hers wall sconces or having glass body lamps.
I can’t wait till the day that I can re-do our room.
