Today sucked.
Point blank, sucked.
It all happened so quickly;
Arlo managed to grab a fresh full cup of scalding hot coffee off of the table.
He has a second degree burn on his arm and a small first degree burn on his chest.
Due to the risk of infection his palate surgery has been postponed. That has been the hardest for me.
When your child has to be rushed to the hospital, you’re in shock and you just deal with it.
When your child has scheduled surgery you mentally prepare yourself for months, you prepare yourself for what is going to happen, you familiarize yourself with your team, you prepare for the week long stay at the hospital.
When that changes, due to whatever, it shifts everything.
I am praying that they will reschedule his surgery for later this week, maybe Monday?
Thankfully we never were transferred, we were able to come home.
Thank you everyone who has prayed for us, message us, and love on us. We appreciate it so much!!

Oh no. Praying.
I’m so sorry to hear this. It is obviously very hard on you and Richard. Praying for strength and health of mind and soul. God bless you two and Arlo

Oh Kait! I know how sorry those emergency room visits can be! IT takes a lot for me to take my kids in, so if I do, they usually end up in the OR as well! Prayers ascend for healing!
Keeping poor bubs in my thoughts! Everything will be ok.
Thank you everyone!! I so appreciate your comments!

Omg that must have been terrifying. Good thing he was okay in the end and I will continue to pray once you find out when his surgery is moved. Let me know so I can. Hang in there. When things in life keep happening I know how overwhelming it can feel. Hang in there.
P.s. love the pics and the one of dad snugglig with both boys is so so precious.
